Disney/Pixar - Wall-E
![]() In the middle of a summer filled with Iron Man, The Hulk and Batman, comes the little robot who could. The Disney/Pixar team has created (for young and old alike) such memorable characters as Buzz Lightyear, Nemo, and Woody. Now they have teamed up to create yet another memorable character in Wall-E. Wall-E is a movie about a world that some think is fast approaching: over-run by trash and abandoned by humans. It has been left to be cleaned up by a team of robots called Wall-E's. The title character is the last of this robot team, and is alone on the planet save for his cockroach buddy. When a new robot EVE is left on the planet, Wall-E's world is rocked and he goes on the journey of his lifetime. The movie is well animated, and while the story is a simple one, the little details in the animated world make up for the small plot holes. Also the references to classic Sci-Fi movies such as "2001: A Space Odyssey" keep the adults entertained along with the kids. So if the Joker is still giving you nightmares, go see Wall-E, a little robot diversion to the problems of Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne.
