My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade is Dead!

In 2006, My Chemical Romance once again stormed the music scene with their third studio album: The Black Parade. In a whirlwind of touring and promoting the album they literally whipped up a My Chem Frenzy with theatrical performances, costumes and makeup, and a sound that will leave you wanting more, and suddenly wanting to hear some Pink Floyd. Two years later in 2008 it all came to a screeching halt as My Chemical Romance put on the breaks and... well.. Killed it off.

The Black Parade Is Dead! DVD features two full-length live performances from My Chemical Romance, a show in New Jersey, the good 'ole My Chem Boys doing their rock-show thing, and the final performance of The Black Parade in Mexico City. The accompanying CD is live tracks from the Mexico City show.

The Jersey Show:
The show in Hoboken, New Jersey took place on October 24th, 2007, the band peppered in classic My Chem crowd favourites such as "Thank You For The Venom", "I'm Not Okay", "You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison", and "Helena" with tracks from The Black Parade, making it a dynamic and phenomenal setlist to rock out to! I often find myself putting the DVD on and listening to the tracks as I clean my apartment or such activities, it's awesome for keeping your spirits up!

The Mexico City Show:
The Mexico set consists solely of songs from The Black Parade, played from track one to the end in order. For those that love the album this is an amazing set to watch and see the band perform, going through the emotions that they pull out of us each time we hear the songs.

This DVD is a definite must-have for any My Chemical Romance fan. It marks the beginning and an end of the Black Parade era, and is truly My Chemical Romance at it's best yet.
