...and unfortunately enough, it isn't this site. I love this little chunk of the internet we've managed to carve out for ourselves, but it does NOT pay the bills. I feel bad saying it, but I'm really sick of people not realizing this.

As much as I would love to sit down in front of my computer and transcribe and code and in general come up with content for The Sound Faction on a daily basis, I can't. We don't get paid for this. This is something we all do because we love it, because we love the music, and the people and the things that are involved in it with us.

So yes, sometimes it does take us awhile to get back to you, and sometimes it does take us a fair bit of time to get interviews transcribed and coded and uploaded, but that's because we all have real lives! Personally, I work six days a week to try and keep my head above water these days, not to mention I'm in the process of trying to move! I know I'm speaking for all of the girls here when I say, that in times like these, we're all pretty much working our asses off to be able to, well, live.

So please, just keep in mind, even your friendly neighborhood webzine journalists need to sleep sometimes. And these days, it seems like our free time is becoming less and less. Have patience with us. Your interview will go up, we will get those questions to you, we will do that review, and post this article, and this interview with this band, I promise. It just might take a bit longer than we would like.

Unless you feel like paying our bills. Then I think we might be able to work something out.
