Prince of Persia
![]() Hello, So I rented this game, Prince of Persia. This game is another remake by the same company of the original game from way back. This game is quite good, good characters, good story and great game play. First off the story goes, the god of darkness was imprisoned by the god of light, big surprise, but not the god of dark is escaping, slowly, and the god of light is nowhere to be found, so its up to Elika, a beautiful princess with cool magic powers and you, a random thief with crazy acrobatic abilities, to save the day. Elika is an uptight princess who knows nothing of the outside world, and the “Prince” is a party-live life to the fullest-cares nothing about anyone kind of guy, pretty much polar opposites. The dialogue between the two can get quite humorous at many parts. So the game has a good solid story with good solid characters to go along with it. The actual game play style is quite interesting. There is no fighting more than one opponent at a time. Each enemy is a sub-boss or boss character, which then makes the game less action oriented and more acrobatic puzzle oriented. Though there is less action, the quality of it is very good. You can block and counter and string together combos almost as if it were a Mortal Kombat like style of fighting. It was very fun to see what different types of combos you can create throughout the game. The acrobatic puzzles were very fun and as usual, gravity defying. You can do such things and wall runs and jumps, pillar jumping and the craziest of all ceiling running, which is just ridiculous, but very entertaining. All in all, this game very fun, it was a good length of game to play, there are some unlockables, and since the game is “open world” you can choose to start in a different place than where you started the first time, so there is some re-playability. I’d highly recommend this game to anyone and everyone.
