PICTURE OF THE WEEK
What's up, dear readers? How was your week?

CAITY:
I don't know if it's just me, or if it's the massive amounts of Prednisone steroids I'm on (due in part to my hard-headedness when it comes to going to the doctor when I need to), but I freakin' want a hamburger bed.
MANDA:
Internet, meet Izzy. She's kind of the new love of my life. Just sayin'.

NATTY:
So Friday night I babysat for the evening. It was a last minute thing but I was excited because its been a while since i got to babysit and watch cartoons and not feel guilty about it (though I really never do feel guilty about cartoons). Anyway, we decide to do a painting because I had an extra canvas and a basket full of paints. Needless to say after we were done, that was my expression 'what a mess', but it was worth it. She was up to elbows in paint her little hands covered in it because I let her finger paint (but she actually hand painted). It was a fun night, then she feel asleep watching Sharktale with me. I adore kids when you let them be in their own element and she was for sure having the best time playing with the paint.

DOCTAH J:
I felt all lonely and nostalgic this week, so I found the pics I took when Caity and I road tripped it to Toronto almost 2 years ago. What can I else can I say, other than I miss my girls.

JEN:
Some of the wonderful women in my family decided to have a girls night this past Saturday and it was honestly so much fun. After chats and drunken (I being the only sober person!) games of Dutch Blitz we settled down to watch some movies...home movies. dun dun duuunnn. They were honestly hysterical to watch, but it was so fun to go back to my childhood. I didn't even remember half the stuff! What I loved the most about it though was that I got to hear my Gumpys (grandfather) voice again. He passed away many years ago and he was never much of a talker, so I have been having trouble remembering his voice and it makes me sad. This is a picture of my Gumpy putting earmuffs on their dog Tippy! I don't know what year it was taken, but I definitely hadn't been born yet. It's one of my favorites because even though he never talked much, he loved to laugh.
LINZY:
This week, I give you an image from a fairly well known movie; Donnie Darko. I have only just watched it for the first time, and find myself extremely confused. No matter how I consider, and reconsider every aspect of the film, I can make no sense of it! Nearly nothing in this movie actually connects with anything else; and the ending? Let's just say that it's quite unexpected. My picture for this week is a representation of Donnie Darko because although I enjoyed the sinister mood of the film; it will be a very long time before I will suceed in correctly comprehending any form of meaning behind it.
