A Thank You To Hardworking Industry Pros

We do a lot of talking about bands, and musicians around here, because that's what we do! However, I'd like to take a moment and talk about the people behind the scenes! If it wasn't for these people busting their ass (for ZERO glory, by the way) very few bands or musicians would have made it to where they are now. Behind every succesful band, there are HUNDREDS of people who tirelessly worked day in and day out to support and assist them, and they rarely get any credit at all for it. That's not the band's fault, of course, if a thank-you page could be a novella instead of an inside-flap of a CD booklet, I'm sure that most bands would instantly give credit where credit is most certainly due.

We at The Sound Faction want you hardworking industry pros to know that we know how hard you work, and how incredibly awesome, and we want everyone else to know it too!

So, to every Craft Service cook, photographer, designer, artist, merch vendor, promoter, venue owner, journalist, blogger, security guard, bus driver, roadie, techie, sound-guy, studio tech, printer, manager, A&R rep, ticket-vendor, lighting director, camera man, go-fer, street team, low-level venue employee, coat-check girl, graphic designer, guitar tech, drum tech, grip, festival director, intern, radio DJ, booker, web-designers, agent, songwriter, medics, composer, entertainment lawyer, video director or PR agent, to anyone who has ever hauled equipment in or out of a venue, or researched demographic information, haucked t-shirts and EPs, walked the grounds of a festival to make sure everyone is okay, listened to the same song a hundred times in a row to make it perfect, spent countless hours scouring the internet or local venues for new emerging talent, or has in any way shape or form helped a band or musician on their path to their dreams, and for anyone at all that I may have overlooked mentioning; THANK YOU.

You are the people who make the music industry work, without your hard work we would see a very different picture of bands and musicians.
