What can I say about miss Linzy here? Well... I can say that she's one of the coolest people I've met in the last little while! One day, she decided to email us about the site, and Caity started a correspondence with her... and then Caity told me to do the same. Unfortunately, my schedule is stupid, and I haven't gotten to get to know Linzy as well as everyone else here has, and I'm sad for that. But she is smart as a whip, musically meshes with the rest of us, and seems to gravitate to the less serious side of things if at all possible. I may not know her that well, yet, but I know she's a good edition to the rest of us. And I can't wait to have more time on my hands to just bum around and chat with her more!

I didn't talk to Linzy until we brought her into the SF fold, but I had heard amazing things about her from Caity. She sounded awesome, and then Caity mentioned that she's 14. Let me repeat that. FOURTEEN. I didn't have Linzy's poise, excellent music taste, or the ability to actually talk to people I didn't know at 14.

Linzy is our lone pacific time zone compatriot, residing in Alberta. So, we actually haven't met yet, but I'm sure when we do, one of two things will happen: 1. She will instantly click in person with the rest of the SF crew, or 2. She will run screaming in the opposite direction, wondering why she wanted to be a part of our zaniness. I hope it's the former!
Caity says:
When we first were introduced to Linzy it was via an email that she sent, telling us that she enjoyed reading our site. She went on in that email to ask if we had any band suggestions for her. You guys know how much we love pushing our musical agendas on people, so naturally we were chalk full of band suggestions for our dear sweet Linzy to check out! We got to talking through the email and I very quickly realized that she has amazing passion for music, is well versed, and VERY funny. After some staff discussion, we decided to invite Linzy to join our staff and I'm very glad that she joined our family! She is a riot to talk to, always keeps me laughing and you wouldn't even know that she's 14! No seriously, she's 14. It's awesome.

Sadly Linzy lives very far away from all of us, so we have yet to hang out with her, but one of these days someday soon, she's going to be in a room with all of us, and she may or may not start to regret her decision to associate with us, but here's to hoping she doesn't!
Natty Says:
The first time we were introduced to our dear Linzy was through an email she sent to the site. I was really impressed with her respect for music and her knowledge and hunger for it. It wasn't long after epic email conversations that Caity brought up the idea of having her on our staff. I would have to say that she is a welcome and fresh addition to our family. She brings a fresh face with new ideas and new outlooks on things that some of us might never see. Plus, the fact that she is in a different timezone and part of our country gives us a different view on music scenes.

Linzy is also hilirious and can keep us in stitches without even trying all that hard. I'm looking forward to the day when you get all six of us girls into one room. It will be the most wonderful chaos that you have ever seen I am sure. Welcome Linzy, welcome to the crazy insane life that is known as the Sound Faction!
Jen Says:
I think we've covered the how we all met Lin$y, so I will stick to the point. Lin$y is one of my favorite people to talk to. We have the same level of sarcasm and it's wonderful to talk to someone who just gets it and doesn't hold back with a response. We always have fun rollin in dumpsters, brushing our teeth with various kinds of alcohol, plastering glitter to our faces and seeing who can go the longest without succumbing to the call of personal hygiene. (hope you all caught the sarcasm. If you didn't, well it's because you're not Lin-blings-y.)

Short and sweet, just like Lin$y. Although, I don't actually know if she's short. She could possibly be taller than me! Either way, she is awesome and she totally understands the part of this blurb that most, if not all of you don't!!
