I met the Doc through Caity, I was introduced to her through multiple stories that Caity would tell about her friends in Maine. A particular favourite of mine will always be about how they met. But I actually physically met her last summer when Caity had a 4th of July party, and she helped me shove sparklers into a Dora the Explorer pinata. Good times were had all 'round. She's a nerd like me, and she's just amazingly random sometimes, and she's always fun to have around. :)
Caity Says:
The Doc and myself have been tight since Sophomore year of High School. (Watch me date ourselves here: in 2001!) I was a transfer student from a private school across the river, suddently thrust into public school life, and frickin hating it. The very first day at my new school, the strangest girl I've ever seen in my life approached me and asked if I did drugs. (To be fair: the private school I transfered from had a bit of a Rep for being druggies... but then: from where I stood, so did the public school...) It was the start to a strange but amazing friendship! Without the Doc, I would never have made it through High school as relatively well-adjusted as I am.
I'm going to let you in on something: We call her The Doc, Doc, or Doctah J (emphasis on the J please.) because she's currently attending Post-grad school in Virginia to obtain her PhD in American Studies. The Doc is a smart, smart girl! Natty Says:
The same as with Caity I had met her when they first came to Toronto in July. I didn't really know what to expect to be honest, because I never really talked to Jordan online or anything. I did enjoy reading her random comments to our threads on facebook. Jordan has a lot of energy, as I noticed at Warped. I have to be honest, I thought she was reseved but then I saw her in the Madina Lake pit, I realized that she wasn't as reserved as I had thought. And needless to say, she rocks my socks.
Jen Says:
Funny thing with Doctah J, she says I'm one of those "don?t judge a book by its cover" kind of people, but I happen to think she is too! I honestly didn't know what to expect because I didn't really talk to her that much. And then when I met her in person, I honestly didn't think that only a few hours later, I would be rocking out in a down pour, in a Madina Lake mosh pit with her!!! She is so awesome and completely surprised me, but in the best way of course! She's super nice and I had so much fun rocking out with her at Warped, and I really hope to go to another show with this girl!!
