To say Three Days Grace wasn't on my listening radar would be a lie. However, I never really listened to them that much. When the chance came up to attend a DVD screening for their live DVD, I informed Ed and away we went. I knew Ed was a fan and would enjoy the show. I went into the screening not really knowing what to expect. When the lights dimmed and play was hit I sat back and relaxed. I knew most of their songs and had enjoyed them. This however was a new experience for me because I haven't seen them live, yet. I was suprisingly shocked at what I was seeing when everything started. The live show was energetic, which I believe was captured perfectly on camera. I greatly enjoyed the band comentary inbetween, that actually allowed me to see a little more about the band that I hadn't know before. There was one song of course that really stood out to me. I mean who doesn't want to 'start a riot' sometimes right? I found myself singing along and moving my feet and tapping my hands. I took a few moments during the showing to take in everyone else in the theatre. Watching as the guy down front cheered and pumped his hands in the air as if he was actually at the show and the sound of the younger girls squealing in delight (especially when the guys actually walked in to take their seats), but what stood out most was the sound of everyone singing along. It was a nice warm comforting feeling actually.

Once the video was finished and the applause was done, Ali from 102.1 The Edge introduced a round of question and answers. Of course both myself and Ed had submitted a question that was actually answered which was nice. After another round of applause we were ushered out to a meet and greet with three of the band members, who were extremely welcoming and nice to each and every person who walked past. All in all, I would go see them in concert if and when the chance does present itself in the future. So, everyone 'lets start a RIOT!'.
